To ensure the rapid improvement of your French skills, the Boulogne-sur-Mer Summer Programme is committed to providing a diversified quality teaching programme of 20 hours per week (see “Courses””) as well as a complementary and optional leisure and cultural activities programme of a minimum of 20 hours per week. This programme combines cultural discoveries with the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with people from different countries. (See « Activities »).
Our language stays are developed to help you learn intensively and efficiently as well as to “learn French with pleasure” in a friendly atmosphere (see « Testimonies »).
The Boulogne-sur-Mer Summer Programme is committed to the quality of its programme and has received the « FLE Label », label of quality approved by professionals. (see « Commitments»).

· Option A : Residence Housing
This economical option provides housing in a campus residence that serves as an inviting place for relaxation and for activities (namely in the evening). This option is best suitable for those who enjoy having the opportunity to interact with the other participants and activity leaders, and who appreciate dorm-style living.
Housing in a high school dorm located in the city centre in 3-5 person rooms (shower and toilets in the hall). Summer Programme staff are always present (day and night) in the resident hall. / Meals : - Monday to Friday breakfast at the residence, lunch and dinner at the university cafeteria located in the city centre (1.5 km / 20-25 minutes by foot) - Saturday and Sunday : - breakfast only (at the residence) The Summer Programme does not provide lunch or dinner on Saturday and Sunday (Several restaurants are close by in the city centre).
· Option B or Option C : With a host family
The families who host participants are chosen for their ability to welcome students and their desire to meet foreigners, but also because their homes are located close to campus and the university cafeteria. The families live at various distances from the city centre, but never more than 30 minutes from campus by foot.
• Option B : Housing with a host family, in an individual room / Meals : - Monday to Friday : breakfast with the family; lunch and dinner at the university cafeteria located in the city centre - Saturday and Sunday : breakfast only (with the family). The Summer Programme does not provide lunch or dinner on Saturday and Sunday (Several restaurants are close by in the city centre)..
• Option C (half-board with a family + 1 meal Monday to Friday) Housing with a host family, in an individual room / Meals : - Monday to Friday : : breakfast with the family + lunch at the university cafeteria located in the city centre + dinner with the family - Saturday and Sunday : breakfast with the family + 1 meal a day with the family
· Option R : Housing in a studio apartment
The studios are located in recent or renovated university housing located in the city centre, close to campus and the university cafeteria.
Housing in a studio apartment with toilet, shower and a small kitchen area / Repas : - Monday to Friday : lunch and dinner at the university cafeteria located in the city centre, close to the studio apartments - Saturday and Sunday : The Summer Programme does not provide lunch or dinner on Saturday and Sunday (Several restaurants are close by in the city centre) Note : The studio apartment option (option R) does not include breakfast on any day of the week.
A deposit of 50 € is needed. We give it you back when you leave, after a control of the studio
