Our Professional commitments

Each summer more than forty people are devoted to welcome those taking part in the Université d’été de Boulogne-sur-Mer programme in the best possible conditions. Providing a quality stay is a priority and a tradition. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the values to which the Université d’été attaches importance.

• The desire to associate training and cultural activities, artistic activities and meetings within the same stay.
• Welcoming anybody over eighteen years old. Welcoming young people under 18 is possible when they form a group with supervisor(s).
• Diverse teaching methods associating different practices.
• Active student participation.
• Opportunities to practise French outside lesson times.
• Close contact with all members of staff.
• A guaranteed warm welcome to the centre.
• Privileged moments of exchange with all the team and the other guests: mealtimes, outings, clubs, organised evenings, etc.
• A programme of leisure and cultural activities for the afternoons and evenings open to all participants.
• Occasions to meet new people and make discoveries throughout the stay.
• A continual presence, every night, in the building where the participants are housed.
• Care in assisting each participant in his/her own discovery of the City, the region and France as well as his/her daily practise of the French language.

The Université d’été is a member of the FLE.fr professional organization. Our commitment is therefore to provide quality teaching, following the FLE.fr code of professional ethics.
