Enrolment

Please find the main elements of the procedure to enrol in one of our language stays at the Université d’été de Boulogne-sur-Mer below. You will find the complete procedure of enrolment at the end of our detailed brochure, in French and English.
You have two possibilities to enrol:

A direct online enrolment form
An enrolment form to send by post

Complete your online or paper enrolment form and send 3 ID photos, a copy of your passport or identity card and an account of 200€ minimum (by cheque, if possible). If you enrol six week or less before the beginning of your stay, please send an account representing 50% of the total amount of your stay at the Université d’été.
Payments must be made in Euro to “Université d’été de Boulogne-sur-mer”.

Once you have completed this procedure, we will send you a confirmation of your enrolment and an invoice, which will precise the fees that you still have to pay. This last amount should be paid at least 5 weeks before the beginning of our stays. However, it is still possible to enrol during the six week period before the beginning of your stay provided our courses are not full. We have subscribed insurance for our own activities and we cannot pay for any personal medical problem.

If your deposit is equal or superior for 50% of the total price (training + accommodation), you can pay the balance of course fee when you arrive. This will mean reduced banking costs.
The bank fees amount to €18.30 per cheque from a non-French account or pergiro transfer from an account outside the European Union.
Participants must be insured (for illness, accidents, hospitalisation or repatriation…) during their stay in France. Proof of insurance must be presented before beginning of course. L’Université d’été de Boulogne-sur-Mer est assurée uniquement dans le cadre de ses activités et ne peut payer aucune dépense médicale personnelle.

Accomodation at the university: Students must bring their own set of sheets or sleeping bag for accommodation at the Summer University; otherwise, a contribution of 8€ for laundry will be requested for each set of sheets.

End of enrolment:

We recommend that you should enrol at least two to three months before the beginning of our stays. However, enrolment forms received just before the beginning of our stays are still considered provided placements are still available.

Dates of our language stays

Students may arrive during the Sunday preceding the first day of the course. The first meal will be served on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Bedrooms must be vacated by 9 at the latest on the Saturday after the last day of training. The last meal is Saturday morning breakfast.

Remember to bring
A set of sheets or sleeping bag; a padlock for your cupboard (accommodation at the Summer University); towels and flannels; notebook, pens and pencils.
